That'd be pretty hard since PHP isn't much faster than Perl. The Apache
module version of PHP versus a CGI written in Perl and PHP is much faster.
But compare apples to apples and compare the PHP script to something
similar written for mod_perl and you are in the same ballpark
performance-wise.
