cookies being cached

Is there any type of cache for cookies??? Cuz I'm working on a very simple script that uses a cookie to hide or show a form in a page... if the cookie is there it hides the form... else... it shows! It is working fine (yes... it's me... I wrote that huge mail about the guestbook, and I got it all working)... I set cookie timelife to 1 hour... and it's perfect... I didn't even had to set those cache parms... but while I'm on the script and want to show the form so I can do some more testing I go to my cookies dir and delete the cookie... I can press reload 3.000 times and nothing happens... I have to close and re-open the browser so it takes effect... cookies are cached??? thanks ____________________________ .
