Not sure how many people here know or care - but I code a little geek site
called miester.org. Lately, I have been releasing the source GPL to all who
want to play/tinker with it.
Well v0.6 is out and it has a lot of new toys/options. They include:
- Themes
- Indexed searching
- Over 40 news feeds
- Message boards
- News
- Link tracker
- Article engine
- Random quote generator
- The "Modulator" which allows you to create your own modules on
the left and right hand side of your screen and then position them
how you want.
- Automatic installer script
- Not bloatware - tar'd up its 72k and extremely fast
To try it out type:
lynx -source http://www.miester.org/install.sh | sh
At the bash prompt. If you have any problems or notice anything that might
need fixing please email me. I plan on announcing it on Freshmeat tomarrow or
the next day after I've gotten some feedback.
