ok, it works, thank you... in the previous versions of php in debian it
was compiled without the --enable-trans-id switch.
but I still have a problem:
in the following situation only the second "<? echo $row... ?>" gets
printed
<a href="x.php?id=<? $row["id"]; ?>"><? echo
$row["id"]; ?>
It should be working, shouldn't it?
but only <a href="x.php?id=&sess_name=sess_id">XY shows up in the browser.
