Depends.. If it's a RAQ3 (i386), it can be treated as a RedHat machine, so
you can go w/ RH RPMs, Cobalt RPMs (recommended due to file layout), or with
source. I went the source route for a number of reasons, but I managed to
break the webmin interface for virtual hosts. That doesn't affect me at
all, but if you're using your RAQ for web hosting, you probably want the
Cobalt RPMs.
If you're using an older RAQ (MIPS based), you'll most likely have to go the
Cobalt RPM route. I'm not sure if they've made MIPS RPMs for PHP4, but it's
worth checking.
Next project for my RAQ: replacing sendmail with qmail.
