well, i don't know of a bug fix, in fact that seems like a browser problem more than PHP. However, one way around it is to restructure you statement. <? if ($submit == "Submit") { // do something to submit the page include('submit_proc.php'); } else if ($submit == "Cancel") { // redirect to calling page include('canc_proc.php'); } else { // assuming submit is the default button include('submit_proc.php'); } ?> Although this doesn't really answer your question, and you probably worked it out like that or in a similar way, i figured i'd throw in my 2 cents. ----- Original Message ----- From: Samantha Savvakis <samantha@cfs.net.au> To: <php-general@lists.php.net> Sent: Tuesday, December 19, 2000 11:16 PM Subject: RE: [PHP] multiple submit buttons > Hi all, > > I know this thread is pretty old, but I have a few problems with multiple > submit buttons and it annoys me that this problem occurs.
