Hi.
I'm to write a php class to implement a roaming Favorites function.
With the
javascript:window.external.ImportExportFavorites(false,'http://www.foo.com/p
ost.php')
it is possible to export all your links to a spesific url in the Netscape
Bookmark format.
My problem is that the Netscape Bookmark format is designed by some stupid
guys that didn't tink about closing their tags - ie. no </p> and </dt> .. if
they could have done this, I could simply add the <?xml version="1.0" ?> to
the top of the input - and parse it as an xml file.
So I have to go through the input - and add some tags and straighten things
up before I use it...
And this is where the really strange things starts to happen:
When the file is posted - The PHP_POST_VARS contains the input file - split
up by all the &'s and ='s in the file - this ain't no big problem to fix.
BUT: Suddently a lot of _________ is appearing... and it even starts to
underscore some of the text; like <H3_FOLDED_ADD.... etc.
Why does this happen??
Has anyone got a clue?
Regards,
