Yes, you need to convert your web server into a mail host.
I have at home a little omnihttp webserver, installed within my home computer. As it is only a
webserver, no other internet
capabilities, it lacks of mail sending.
But in "real" webservers, as the ones that big enterprises have, the webservers are also
mail hosts, so i don't have any problem
sending mail from the real definitive server...
