You might have the FTP Client, but you'll need an FTP _server_ on the machine with Apache in order to FTP files to it. I like WarFTPd, though I've never used Serv-U. There are links to download WarFTPd at http://www.jgaa.com/ If you don't want to install an FTP server, you could always transfer files via LapLink, PCAnywhere, Timbuktu, or some such.

Thanks Mike mpeloso@princeton.edu

As far as server configuration, I found the docs at httpd.apache.org to be quite extensive and clear. Also, check the httpd.conf file in your apache/conf subdirectory. That's the 'crux of the biscuit' for configuration if you don't want to use .htaccess files. It's quite well laid out and extensively commented. http://www.php4win.de has additional info & compiled modules for using PHP with Windows. -steve +------------------------------------------------------------------------+
