PHP 3.0.16 and Apache Name Virtual Hosts

Greetings All,
Does PHP 3.0.16 have any problems working with Apache Name Virtual Hosts? I have PHP installed and when I try using a basic .php3 test page under a name virtual host configuration I get a "document contains no data" error from the browser, however if I run httpd with a basic config file with no name virtual hosts the page works perfectly.
Nothing of any use is showing up in the Apache log files (the access log shows the file being sent, but no errors being logged anywhere).
PHP version 3.0.16
Apache version 1.3.12
OS: Solaris 2.7
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
