Hi all, I'm a seasoned perl programmer making his first foray into PHP. I'm running PHP4 as a DSO on Apache 1.3.12 under RH6.2. I built PHP with the option: --with-sybase-ct=/usr/local/freetds (which is right from the freetds FAQ). The following statement never succeeds (I get an unable to connect error message): $connect = mssql_connect("myMSSQL", "uname", "passwd" ); I know the freetds libraries are okay as well as the interfaces file since I can run queries using the perl DBI package. Is there something extra I need to do to acces the MS SQL database from PHP? Does anybody have some complete example code they'd be willing to share? I feel kinda stuck when I can't even get to first base :-( Thanks, Rob
