uploading files

I went through the manual, but it hardly helped me. I want to have a form to upload a file (a pic) and rename it once its uploaded... I couldn't understand the copy() syntax... Can anyone please send me a link (a tutorial, etc...) or some information please? And I also wanted to know: How can I have a "Browse" button on my page so that I can choose the file to upload from my hard disk? thanks.
