My company, Great Bridge, published some benchmark information that
we commissioned last summer. It runs a commercial implementation of
the AS3AP and TPC-C tests between PostgreSQL 7.0, MySQL 3.22,
Interbase 6, and two (ahem) proprietary DBMS's that we can't mention
by name.
Info is at http://www.greatbridge.com/about/press.php?content_id=4
You can also download Great Bridge PostgreSQL 7.0.3 (ISOs, RPMs,
source) at http://www.greatbridge.com/download/download.php
- or if
you prefer, you can fill out a brief form at
http://www.greatbridge.com/info and we'll mail
you a free CD.
Regards,
Ned
