From my experience session_destroy was working correctly on Linux/Apache/PHP
4.0.3pl1.

If anyone has been having problems with session_destroy not working
correctly, I may have figured something out.
I was using PHP 4.0.3pl1 on my development system (Win98,Xitami) and could
never get session_destroy to work. The session file would never be deleted
by a script.
Solution: I upgraded to 4.0.4. Problem fixed.
Now, I need to get my sysadmin to ug to 4.0.4 on the Linux/Apache server.
I keep you up to date.
