Hey guys this one might be simple for ya..
how do you get a exponent of a verable.. example...

$Value = 4;
$Exponent = 2;
$Equals = 1E$Exponent + $Value;
PRINT ("Equals");
?>
shoudl be simple.. i have tried all kinds of things.. please help
