I just had a "doh" moment, 'til I looked at the code and realised that this
isn't the problem. But for a moment, I thought I had. :)

I just wrote a big explanation (now erased, of course) of how this simple
little script works when my phone rang: the client. They fixed it. How?
By removing the debug code that they'd added just now.
