1. What I want to do.
2. How I would do it.
3. Problem
I want to set up a web page for pre-marriage counseling on the internet.
The page that each person would see would have two text boxes on it. One box
that would show what every one is saying or thread and a box for them to
type their comments, questions and answers. When one of the three clicks on
submit, it will append a text file. When the session is over the minister
will click on a link and the session will be e-mailed to everyone.
Box one:
Minister in South Bend, IN: Bla bla bla
Bride in Hungary: Bla bla bla
Groom in Texas: Bla Bla Bla
So far so good. Easy to do.
Problem: Minister asks a question. Bride answers and Groom answers. The last
one to answer will see all the other answers. But the minister and the first
to answer will not see all the answers until they do a refresh.
Question: Is there a way for the server to send a page refresh to the other
two when one of them updates the file? Or how would you do something like
this? Or is it possible?
