Re: apple-macintosh

I've downloaded the MySql package from Lightyear, and also an OSX version from NuSphere to an OSX server for my client. UNFortunately, the Lightyear tar refuses to unpack (it is meant to be dropped onto the Desktop and the OSX server doesn't have a Desktop folder) and the NuSphere installs fine except that it fails to find libpthread.A.??lib (I'm not at the server and not sure of the extension). So then setting up the grant table fails and MySql won't run. We are in critical mode to get MySql up and running on this, and I could use some help/direction.
