Could any tell me whats wrong with the following code? Even though I have more than 10 tables in the database, it is not showing any numbers.
$id_link = @mysql_connect('localhost',$uid,$pwd);
$result=@mysql_db_query($db,$id_link,"show tables");
$num_of_rows=@mysql_num_rows($result);
echo $num_of_rows;
