I have index.php3 in DocumentRoot and it executes fine after adding index.php3 to DirectoryIndex.
So...
- Is there any reason NOT to execute scripts outside of cgi-bin?
- if index.php3 were moved to cgi-bin, how do I tell Apache to load that page initially without
changing DocumentRoot (i.e. if only http://www.domain.com were
entered, it would use cgi-bin/index.php3 as the default page WITHOUT DocumentRoot being changed to
cgi-bin)
BTW, does anyone know an Apache mailing list with some traffic?
