mysql error

fellas, i built and tested my site on a linux machine, debian 2.2, with mysql 3.22.32 and php 4 (late something, standard debian 2.2) and now i have it on the net. i am recieving this error, whereas it worked corretly locally Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in ./comments.php on line 6 here is the code where this is coming from. mysql_select_db("jamesmc",$db); $result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM comment WHERE pid='$poid' ORDER by cid desc",$db); $comm = mysql_fetch_array($result); any ideas?? i cannot think of what could be doing it. tried a while loop, no good. have a look at the site on the net, http://www.kryptonlinux.com/jamesmc2/index.php thanks, jamesmc
