You could try putting your message into a variable and then
stripslashes that into a new variable. Then just call the variable
from within the $mail_body.

Folks,
I have a silly little problem. When sending mail, I want to strip the
slashes. But I don't see how that's possible. Example:
$mail_body = "Message full of \"\"\".";
mail("mail@example.com",
"mail subject",
"$mail_body");
So, when the mail arrives, I've got a message full of slashes. There is, of
course, no opportunity to strip those slashes. But I can hardly send mail
without stripping the slashes.
Is my only option to turn on magic quotes runtime? Is there another
solution to this? Thanks, folks.
Best,
Waldo
