For some of us (who don't abuse the list by posting spam), the news interface to such a busy list is a godsend. Forcing everyone to subscribe would only penalize many legitimate readers/posters while presenting little real obstacle to the spammers. Similar garbage has appeared on every mailing list I've ever been on. Even the moderated ones let ones slip through from time-to-time. There must be a more effective solution. Does Ezmlm support some form of spam-filtering, perhaps? -- CC
