Apache module in 4.0.1 broken?

Can't seem to get the apache module to compile (libphp4.so). Works great
with php 4.0.0
./configure --disable-xml --without-gdb --disable-rpath --with-mysql --with-
apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs --disable-debug --with-config-file-path=/etc/httpd/conf
make works without errors as well. But I can't find any apache module. Am I
missing something obvious? Like a note in the docs?
