Have you touched any .htaccess file? Then maybe that's the problem ... I've no idea what you misconfigured at all, but I know that a misconfiguration of .htaccess gives you the exactly same error (500) and the error log line is often looking very similar, Cheers, Maxim Maletsky -----Original Message----- From: [ rswfire ] [mailto:rswfire@hotmail.com] Sent: Monday, January 29, 2001 5:24 AM To: php-general@lists.php.net Subject: [PHP] Apache/PHP Configuration Problem on NT5 I have set up an ErrorDocument 404 in httpd.conf to point to a PHP file in the root of my documents. It was working, now suddenly it has stopped working. Here's the scenario: When I attempt to view a page that is not there, I receive a 500 Internal Error Message, as follows: ============================================ Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, rswfire@hotmail.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
