First there was PHP (Personal Home Pages) and FI (Form Interpreter)
Then they were combined into PHP/FI Version 2. After which there
was PHP3 and now PHP4.
PHP/FI had a few quirks... the syntax for function definitions
for example:
function functionname $param1 $param2 (
statement1;
statement2;
...
);
PHP3 was a definite improvement.
