Check the config.log (?) and config.status (?) files and see if you can find out why configure ignored your --with-db2 [Basically, dig around in every config.xxx file you can find in the PHP source directory, and search for db2] Sometimes it does that and doesn't complain about it for some reason... Also, double-check that the library (the libphp.so thingie) in your .../apache/modules/ directory actually has the date you would expect on it.
