I know a little Perl and am beginning to learn PHP. I'm more of a designer than a programmer (not enough geek genes). I went through the tutorial at WebMonkey and have it all installed and working, but the tutorial isn't able to go in depth about the basic functions of MySQL. Is this something better learned from a book? Suggestions for books and/or tutorials online would be appreciated.
