I have this problem too, I try to include CVS "dir.c" V 1.41 but the problem stays the same. I'm using dir($path), not opendir($path); $toto = dir($path); I try to found the problem myself. After some investigations my results are: In dir.c, line 174, in the clause "if (createobject)" the call of "add_property_stringl() modify dirp->id. Before the call, dirp->id=1, after the call dirp->id=46; This seems to be abnormal. (in all case, 46 is the value returned to the application, this causes the problem). This problem do not occur all the time, but extremely frequently. I tried to re-use PHP 4.0.0. All is OK. Thanks for your help. Zeev Suraski a écrit : > Looks like my 4.0.1 wasn't thorough after all.
