a good hosting experience

As a follow-up to the "Terrible Hosting Experience" posts, here's a "Good Hosting Experience" post. I completely and unabashedly recommend Hurricane Electric (www.he.net), for virtual or dedicated hosting. AND...they're not paying me a thing to say that. :) They have virtual host packages starting at ten bucks. thickbook.com runs on a thirty bucks a month virtual hosting package, and it's just fine (as far as I can tell). PHP 4, MySQL at all levels of pricing, and you can control local PHP values with .htaccess, just fine. I also have a 1U dedicated server there for $200/mo (www.mytrainingcamp.com) and am ecstatic about it. So, go Hurricane! - Julie +----------------------------------------+
