PHP4 install problems

Hello,
I seem to have some problems with executing .php files.
let's first give you my server conciguration :
- RH 6.2 installed with everything (so also PHP2)
- MySQL installed
- Installed PHP 3.0.16
- and now installed PHP4.0.0
This is how I compiled PHP4:
./configure --with-apxs --with-mysql
./make
./make install
everything worked fine... but when I try to access the test.php containing :
<?
phpinfo();
?>
it says
PHP/FI Version 2.0.1

Strange huh? I think this is the problem:
The AddType for PHP2 is :
AddType application/x-httpd-php .phtml
and for PHP4 is:
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
Now is my question, how can I use PHP4 instead of PHP2, or how can I remove PHP2?
