try this:
in the form:
<select name="CatecoryID[]" size="3" multiple>
<option value="1">Item 1</option>
<option value="2">Item 2</option>
<option value="3">Item 3</option>
</select>
in the script:
$num = sizeof($CategoryID); // Number of array items
for($i=0;$i<$num;$i++)
{
// $CategoryID[$i] --> whatever you wanna do with it...
}
