Do you want to use it to decide where to send them?:
$userlevel = mysql_result($result, 0, 'userlevel');
switch ($userlevel){
case 1:
header("Location: guru.php");
break;
case 2:
header("Location: newbie.php");
break;
}
Or, do you want to only get users matching some pre-defined userlevel?
$sql = "select * from $table_name where member = '$member' and pw = '$pw'
and userlevel = '$userlevel'";
