Hi, I've forgotten how to make a php file default instead of an index.html... reminders?I see you're on Win98, but judging from your other post you're using PHP on a Unix server. If it's Unix, you're probably using Apache. You'll need to add index.php at the end of the DirectoryIndex line in httpd.conf. You'll also need to add the .php extension into the AddType line for PHP. If you don't have access to the server configuration files, you can stick the DirectoryIndex (and possibly AddType) directive into an .htaccess file in the top level of your base directory probably. DirectoryIndex index.html index.shtml index.htm index.php index.php3 If you're using PHP3: AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .php .php3 .phtml If you're using PHP4: AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php3 .phtml If you're not using Apache, I have no earthly idea. The instructions for the above also apply to Apache for Win32 (or should). Brian
