"<br>" is used in hypertext markup language (HTML). Email (unless specially
encoded--MIME headers, ugh!) does not use HTML.
"/n" is a slash followed by the letter n.
"\n" is a newline on *nix system (Unix, Linux, etc.).
"\r\n" is a Wintel linebreak. It's also the standard for linebreaks within
emails.
