Not sure what you are trying to do?
Not sure what a Persal is (maybe an Arial?)
Perhaps you want:
select
E.empname
from employer E, badclient B
where E.employercode = B.employercode
and E.pesal='$Persal'
Note there are two tables given aliases of E and B
that are JOINED by the first condition in the where clause.
