Just prefix the form object names with $
Say you have a text box set up like so:
<FORM ACTION=check.php METHOD=GET>
<input type="text" name="avail" value="">
<INPUT TYPE=SUBMIT>
</FORM>
and in check.php
<?php echo $avail; ?>
will show the value entered in the text box
