You need a nice, big browscap.ini file (not the one at php.net) for
get_browser() to work. Search the 'Net with your fave search engine for
the biggest one you can find.
browscap.ini file lists all the browsers and their capabilities.
For JavaScript, I think you have to try to use it, and then note a
difference from its behaviour, to be sure the user has it on/off, as
opposed to the browser being *capable* of JavaScript.
Ditto for cookies.
