Semaphore and shared mem delete not working

Hi all, Im working with Semaphores and shared memory using php everything works ok except when u say sem_release it doesnt deletes from the system on Linux prompt i can c it using ipcs option i know one way wld be to use exec function and pass ipcrm with option but thats the bad way of doing it is there any method by which i can remove using php function same problem is for shared mem segments -- Warm Regards Deepesh
