First use session_register(). Then give the variable a value. So just rearrange your code, like this: <?php session_start(); $SID = date("Y F j H:i:s"); session_register("SID"."fillista"); $fillista = "fillista.xml"; print "SID=".$SID; ?> That should do it. -- Plutarck Should be working on something... ...but forgot what it was.
