Ah, the joys of strlen(). That's your first question, but now for the second. Sending data directly to the printer is basically a client side function, and as PHP is totally server side it just can't do it. Not technologically possible. There are some "printer direct" type programs around, and you can certainly figure out a way to make PHP work with those, but that's about all you can do. -- Plutarck Should be working on something... ...but forgot what it was.
