You can do simlar thing with Variable Function.
For example.
class foo {
var $function_name;
function foo($fname) {$this->function_name = $fname; $this->$function_name;}
function a() {echo 'a';}
function b() {echo 'b';}
}
foo('b'); // calls foo::b()
