yes, the subdomains cost you $20/setup, and $2/month extra. the reason for the setup? they won't let you mess with the dns (which makes a lot of sense) overall, it is worth it. you will of course pass the setup fee on to your clients, and charge more than $2/month, but you can see, that the return comes pretty quickly.
