Is there any way to get directory-level authentication with PHP? I've looked all over and I haven't found anything. Is it even possible?Hello slp, I don't know of any clean, php-only way to do this. If you are running Apache, you could a <Location> directive to force any calls to a specified URI to be passed to a PHP authentication script. Your script could then handle making sure that the right content was passed to the browser if authentication succeeded. Chances are, it would be easier to use your web servers built-in authentication method. HTH, Zak
