You can only use the Sybase libraries with MS SQL Server 6.5. If you use version 7.0 you have to use
ODBC or comple a module combining the MS SQL module and FreeTDS (www.freetds.org).
I'm currently working on a general solution, but only with PHP3 so far. I'll port t to
PHP4 as soon as the code is working.
BTW. Sybase Libraries is not ODBC !
