I would like to secure my red hat 6.0 box by setting up php so no matter
how bad written the script is, it still won't crash the box by exhasting it's
memory. (with safe_mode off) (my red hat 6.0 has 38M RAM & 80M SWAP)
I have set up PHP with the default memory limit (8M) However, the following
test script will still able to exhast the box's memory.
<?
$max=100000;
set_time_limit(4000);
for ($n=0; $n<=$max; $n++)
{
$a[$n]="a$n ";
$b[$n]="b$n ";
$c[$n]="c$n ";
$d[$n]="d$n ";
$e[$n]="e$n ";
$f[$n]="f$n ";
$g[$n]="g$n ";
$h[$n]="h$n ";
echo "$a[$n] $b[$n] $c[$n] $d[$n] $e[$n] $f[$n] $g[$n] $h[$n]\n";
}
?>
I would be pleased if somebody can help me out.
Thanks a lot
