I'm in need of some assistance. I've installed PHP4(DSO) on Solaris 2.7,
Apache 1.3.12. The server has a number of name VirtualHosts. Initially
everything worked fine. When the server got to about 100 VirtHosts I
would sporadically see the error:
Warning: Failed opening '/<some path>/<file>.php' for inclusion
(include_path='') in Unknown on line 0
Restarting Apache fixed this. When the VirtHost count got to around 200,
a restart wouldn't fix the problem. I get this error for every PHP page.
I tested taking the server back to about 20 VirtHosts and PHP worked fine
again.
I turned off per-host errorlogs and increased the system file descriptor
limits thinking this may be the problem. No change.
Has anyone else seen this?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
