S.J. Basic syntax that you would be using in things like counters, statistics, date and time functions hasn't changed much at all...I don't have personal experience with php3, but i know that the developers of php4 have tried hard to make php4 very compatible with php3...i'm sure you'll get an e-mail in a second from several others saying the same thing....as far as security issues, that's not very descriptive, so its hard to understand exactly what's happening...explain what you're doing better and you'll get a more helpful response... all the best, jack "S.J.
