Hi Thies, Yes, httpd is linked against pthread. I've compiled 4.0.4pl1 and so far it is working ok. This problem (segmentation fault) seems to be happening quite often (after reading some posts). ldd /usr/sbin/httpd libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0x4001a000) libcrypt.so.1 => /lib/libcrypt.so.1 (0x40037000) libdb.so.3 => /lib/libdb.so.3 (0x40065000) libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x4009f000) libpthread.so.0 => /lib/libpthread.so.0 (0x400a4000) libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x400b7000) /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000) - Thanks. --- "Thies C.
