Hey there folks with peristent connections problems with PHP.
Sasha of MySQL fame has tracked down the problem, and we have a bug to hope
gets fixed

Heck, there are even some workarounds it seems like. And best of all their
is hope...
So if you've been having problems, this might be the answer.
